And I hope this & the follow up post aren't too dispiriting, the system is full of flaws but the community and the joys of publishing outweigh that (most days!).
Not too dispiriting, thanks for mentioning the joy of publishing again. I've only really started getting into the community in the past year but it is a wonderful, uplifting thing
