I've been conducting a mish-mash/on-off of these approaches recently, following what should not have been a disappointment of a minor rejection and then a couple of endorsements of what I'm doing. Yeah I imagine there's a very similar balance to be found in artistic work too, but it's so tough sometimes! Glad you've had those positive endorsements to balance out the other stuff x
